I Guess It’s Time, But It Should Have Been Expected…

A long-time social media-originated friend of many years has just lost their most recent (by several years) Meta account, and they are no longer going to play there, even with their new sort-of-temporary account. I can’t say that I blame them, but I’ll miss those particular interactions. I’m lucky that they shared their phone number with me ages ago, so we can still chat, but the social media interaction wasn’t a bad thing at all.

I’m at the point where I am thinking I should post my noisy political stuff here and link to whatever I have to say on my FB account, as I think that there will come a time when I will also lose my FB account access. It’s not an “if”, it’s clearly a “when”, based upon the MAGA lean of the bad Thermian-haircut assfuck who runs that particular corporation.

I hate having to do things this way, but at this point, with the political angle of Zuckerfuck right out there in front of us all, I can’t see that I really have any other viable alternative.

I’ve been tossing this idea around for a long time now, and I guess it’s time to bite that particular bullet and just post the “serious” stuff to Evil Overlady here and link to them on my FB account, for as long as that may last.

Also, I’m not going to be aggregating your personal information to sell to the highest bidder, so I’m safe for you that way.

Yes, I own my own internet servers, so there’s no one on the back end who will be spying on things, thus you can feel safe.
