Purity Tests?

I am so goddamned fucking tired of purity tests where elections are concerned.

NO ONE is fucking perfect.

Not even YOU.

Either not voting at all, or writing in a candidate who hasn’t a snowball’s chance in Hell of winning, is a waste of your vote, and only gives the Republicans a higher victory margin went the votes are finally counted.

Voting is your civic duty in our version of democracy, so get your fucking ass out there and vote for an actual candidate if you sincerely want the current fascistic insanity to have even a chance of being ended.

PS: If you think you’re perfect, try running for office.

Really.

I’m sure your opponent(s) will find something in your closet to accuse you of having done, in order to torpedo your candidacy.
