More on the Seussian Kerfuffel

Stephen Colbert has been an emotional lifesaver for me and my family for many years now, and in last night’s show he delightfully slammed those who are making the Seuss Estate’s recent actions into something they aren’t. I wrote the following in response.

I really must say, Mr Stephen Colbert,
I will continue to watch you,
In a plane, on a train, or in my tv lair.

You’re literate, fun, and a man of deep thought,
And for this (and still more), my attention you’ve caught.

Your words make me smile
Your sass even more
So keep it up, sir
You’re never a bore.
